Bialyer lipid membranes
I study their electrical properties, dynamics of formation process (Mueller-Rudin method), changes of membrane structure caused by polarization potential, electroporation in chronopotentiometric conditions (current-clamp).
Development of new flow methods and detectors. New kinds detectors (Direct Injection Detrectors) were constructed.
I try to use the lipid bilayers for constructing electrochemical sensors and biosensors. I investigate changes in surface potential of the membranes and possibility of measuring this parameter in BLM-based sensors.
Construction of measurement devices
I develope electrical methods for studies of membrane properties. I have constructed computer-controlled system for investigations basic physical properties as capacitance, resistance, thickness, membrane potentials, transport processes, electrocompressibility.
Development of software controlling the measurement equipment
The software is written in the Delphi programming language.
Electrocoagulation of wastes
Development of an electrochemical method for electrocoagulation of wastes and removing of phosphorus from the wastes.
